Janine brings about 30 years of tax and accounting experience with her to Olympic Point Tax & Consulting. Her goal is, and always has been, to bring professional knowledge and traditional service to all her clients so as to assist them in being financially successful in their personal and professional matters. Not long after her undergraduate studies, Janine co-founded and managed a tax preparation and accounting firm in Oakland, CA. During her years with that firm, she was also able to obtain her Ph.D. and raise two children. Eventually, drawing on additional entrepreneurial spirit, she solely founded another firm in Oakland which focused on comprehensive tax and accounting consultancy for individuals, small businesses of many types, and non-profits. Her move to the Seattle area arose out of a desire to be closer to her two adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family, friends, and her two dogs. She also has been known to approach her recreational life with the same intensity as her professional career, as can be corroborated by a number of orthopedists. Her favorite outdoor activity involves (to the chagrin of the orthopedists) careening down mountainsides on a snowboard!

Mary has over 40 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax and payroll work for closely held businesses. In 2016, she retired from a firm in the Midwest where she had been a partner for over 15 years. She is enjoying building relationships with new clients in the Pacific Northwest.

In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her extended family, urban hikes, reading and cooking.

Iris has worked in a public accounting firm for several years specifically in the tax space. In 2021, she moved to the Seattle area from Kansas. She is bilingual in both English and Chinese. In her spare time, Iris enjoys time with her family, hiking and reading.

Germain has worked in the bookkeeping area for several years, and also has expertise in payroll and payroll tax reporting. She has specifically concentrated on public accounting for the past eight years.

In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family and friends.

As a Seattle native, Linda has been living in West Seattle since 1989. She has 25 years of public accounting experience, primarily in tax including areas of trust and estate.

In her spare time, Linda enjoys agility training with her dog and long daily walks.

Maureen joined Olympic Point Tax in April 2022 after a 24-year career in Healthcare Management. Originally from Massachusetts and having spent some time in Florida, she developed a fondness for the Pacific Northwest during a visit to a friend and decided to make it her home just two months later. With 24 years of residency in Seattle, Maureen now spends her leisure time hiking and gardening, and enjoying audiobooks during her walks to and from work.
